surprise kiss
We had such a good time last night. M. met me at work and we had a bite to eat, then went for a drink before the show. We met F and A there and just.. relaxed. The first band was pretty.. um.. well, as the bartender said “at least they were following their dreams”. The second band was decent (and played a rousing cover of Fleetfood Mac’s “Chains”.. unfortunately with an overly exuberant hipster girl with no rhythm on a tambourine..) and J’s band did really well – it was nice to get out and listen to some good music, have a beer or two. It’s funny watching J’s little groupies all stand by the drums and watch him play – Makes me smile when he steps off stage and has a beer with me. Good night all round.
