{the royal art lodge}

“The Royal Art Lodge was an art collective from 1996 – 2008. The Royal Art Lodge was founded in 1996 by Micheal Dumontier, Marcel Dzama, Neil Farber, Drue Langlois, Jonathan Pylopchuk and Adrian Williams in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Hollie Dzama and Myles Langlois have also been members.

I’m such a fan of Marcel Dzama, I was so happy to errantly stumble upon this. I’m really not sure how I did.. but that was a happy accident. xo

  • I like the “Judith” one… hehe.

  • those are hilarious! love ‘em.

  • Oh these are beautiful- thank you for sharing these! I’ve never seen any of this!

  • They are a wonderful collective from Winnipeg. The gallery I managed used to sell their paintings and drawings. The invitations for their shows were loads of fun too. I’ll scan some and send a copy if you are interested in seeing any of them.
    They also had a huge show at the Winnipeg Art Gallery a few years back. If you go to the WAG website you can read some info about them.
    Lastly, you should definitely check out the solo work of Neil Farber and Michael Dumontier. It’s interesting to see their solo work and how it influences their collective work

  • So fun! Thanks for sharing!
